Two-Family Residence

This late 19th century house on Prescott Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts was the subject of a complete exterior restoration. Work included waterproofing around the dormers, reconstruction of the entranceway platform and stairs, repointing of the foundation, and painting with the original color scheme.

Joseph Draper House

Joseph Draper House

This was one of the oldest houses in Dover, Massachusetts. An evaluation was performed, but the structure was unfortunately lost due to badly compromised structural conditions and other factors.

This classic French Renaissance residence in Boston, Massachusetts had fallen victim to extreme brownstone deterioration. Recommendations were made for conservation and sensitive repair.

Bonniecrest

This former single-family residence in Newport, Rhode Island had been converted to condominiums when it was examined. The survey found the usual range of masonry, roofing, flashing and fenestration problems.

Apartment Building

Situated directly across from the State House on Boston's Beacon Hill, this well-known urban residence received a total exterior masonry restoration, new energy-efficient windows, and membrane roofing.

60 Fenway Street

This notable building, which featured a full-floor ballroom, was one a single-family residence. After it was converted to a college fraternity house, ARC was called in to assess it.

Fairfax Building

ARC was commissioned to undertake a complete exterior assessment of this residential condominium building, and further to prepare construction documents and administer exterior masonry, roofing, flashing, decorative sheet metal and window restoration.

Monks Building

This High Victorian Gothic condominium building was troubled by deteriorating masonry, leaking rainwater control systems, rotting windows, and roofing failure. All were corrected by a restoration campaign led by ARC.

The Stoneholm

Sheet metal roofing and decorative elements on this unusually elaborate Beaux Arts Classical style structure in Brookline, Massachusetts had begun to allow leaks when ARC was called in. Due to the extremely high estimated cost to carry out, the owners declined to move forward.
